Water in Iowa town tests high for nitrates
DES MOINES, IA, Dec. 3, 2010 -- Water tests in the town of Dixon, IA, are showing elevated levels of nitrate in the tap water. Residents with infants are being advised to use alternative sources of water.
City officials are working with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to determine the source of the nitrates.
