Baltimore County water firms merge

BALTIMORE, MD, MARCH 7, 2017 -- Two Baltimore County water firms have merged, and a non-profit is being planned.

Carroll Water has acquired Meadow Brook Water Service Inc. of Rosedale. The Cockeysville-based well drilling and water treatment firm's acquisition of Meadow Brook, is Carroll Water's second purchase.

After assisting with the transition, the Baltimore Sun reports thatMeadow Brook's current owner, Anselm Salins, will establish a non-profit to provide safe water to orphanages, schools and villages in needy countries.
