Brackett Green USA merger with Brackett Green WSA creates Houston-area business for water cleaning technology

HOUSTON, Feb. 24, 2004 -- Brackett Green USA, a worldwide provider in mechanical water filtration technology, has announced a merger with its subsidiary company, formerly Milwaukee-based Brackett Green WSA, which specializes in debris filters and automatic tube cleaning systems.

The merger makes Brackett Green USA the only North America-based company of its kind.

According to Brackett Green USA President Fred Bryan, the decision was made in October 2003 to formally merge the two companies. This venture both strengthened Brackett Green's market position and immediately improved the company's bottom line by streamlining accounting and overhead costs. The company now has 20+ employees and intends to further expand based on a continuing increase in market share.

"Brackett Green USA acquired WSA in 1999, and we have operated separately since that time, Bryan said. The merger of Brackett Green USA and WSA reinforces the company's commitment to the water filtration and condenser protection markets.
