Company appoints new regional office general manager

Severn Trent Services is pleased to announce that Michael Burkhard has joined the company as General Manager of its Pipeline Services regional office in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Fort Washington, Pa. Severn Trent Services is pleased to announce that Michael Burkhard has joined the company as General Manager of its Pipeline Services regional office in Saratoga Springs, New York. In this role, Burkhard is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the office that specializes in industrial and municipal sewer system evaluation and specialty Trenchless rehabilitation.

Burkhard has over 20 years of experience in the underground pipe and structure industry and brings to Severn Trent a wide variety of skills including management, product research and development, lobbying, and marketing. Most recently, Burkhard served as the Executive Director of the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) where he spearheaded reorganization efforts that balanced the organization's budget and increased membership by 58% in the first year of his leadership.

Severn Trent's Pipeline Services group provides sewer collection system services including: flow monitoring, smoke testing, manhole inspections, cleaning and internal pipe inspections, and specialty rehabilitation services; and water distribution system services including: water audits, "C" factor testing, hydraulic modeling, leak detection, hydraulic grade line analysis, and line stopping/line tapping services and equipment.
