Pipeline, a free publication of the National Small Flows Clearinghouse (NSFC) is written for a general audience, and each issue explains a wastewater technology or theme of interest to local officials and community residents. The articles are presented in an easy-to-read, non-technical style and each issue includes a list of contacts and resources.
"Preparing for the Unexpected: Vulnerability Assessment for Small Wastewater Systems" (Winter 2003, Item# SFPLNL32): The Winter, 2003 issue of Pipeline (Vol. 14, No. 1) provides guidelines for decision makers for the assessment of potential hazards, both natural and manmade, along with some specific countermeasures that can reduce vulnerability.
