HOUSTON, TX, Dec. 2, 2008 -- HOBAS Pipe USA, a leading manufacturer of centrifugally cast, fiberglass-reinforced, polymer mortar pipe systems, has promoted Kimberly Paggioli, P.E., to the position of Vice President, Marketing and Quality Assurance.
Paggioli received her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1993 and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, in 2002.
She has been involved in the fiberglass pipe industry for 15 years. During the early part of her career, she worked as an engineering associate in technical sales support. She has held positions in manufacturing as Quality Control Manager and as the Marketing Manager for HOBAS at their corporate headquarters in Houston.
Paggioli has a strong background in material performance and composite design. She shares this knowledge by communicating with engineers, owners and installers, writing and speaking on topics related to the use of fiberglass pipes.
She is involved in various trade organizations on both the local and national levels and has held offices with various groups including her term as environmental committee chair for the Texas Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers, part of the National ASCE.
Paggioli often makes presentations at seminars and trade shows regarding advances in pipeline infrastructure and is registered as a professional engineer in three states. She lives in Conroe, Texas, with her husband and two sons.
