HARRISBURG, PA, Nov. 9, 2010 -- The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority board, a state water and sewer project financing agency, has voted to approve Pennsylvania American Water's application to extend municipal water service to Dimock and Bridgewater residents.

State officials maintain that drilling activities in the region contaminated the water wells of more than a dozen area households.
