Sunoco will pay to connect homes to public water in PA

WEST CHESTER, PA, JULY 13, 2017 -- About 30 residences in Pennsylvania whose well water was contaminated with Sunoco Pipeline LP built its Mariner East 2 Pipeline will have their connections to a public drinking water supply furnished by the company.

The Associated Press reports Sunoco will pay to connect the homes to the Aqua Pennsylvania supply system. Aqua Pennsylvania will build a 1,600-foot (487.7-meter)-long water main for the new connections. A timeline for the connections to be operational is still in the works.
