VOORHEES, NJ, FEB 8, 2018 -- New Jersey American Water announced the start of water main replacement projects in its service areas in Burlington and Camden counties to improve service reliability, prevent water outages and enhance fire protection. The projects, with a combined cost of over $4.2 million, will replace aging pipe dating back to the 1900s.

"These projects within Burlington and Camden counties are a continuation of the critical investment for the company to provide our customers with safe, reliable water service."
Beginning this month, New Jersey American Water qualified contractor, Pioneer Pipe Contractors, Inc. will complete the work.
Prior to the start of construction, the residents within the scope of the project will receive a notice stating the actual state date.
