Parsons appoints Albrecht to head new construction group

PASADENA, CA, June 27, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Parsons announced today the appointment of Andrew C. Albrecht as president of Parsons Construction Group Inc. (PCG), effective July 1. PCG is a new global business unit of Parsons Corp.

PCG will combine the assets and resources of Parsons Constructors Inc., Parsons Evergreene and Parsons RCI. This new business unit will focus on construction of water, transportation, infrastructure, and civil projects as well as environmental site remediation, and residential and commercial development.

Albrecht will be responsible for PCG's worldwide activities including business development, operations management, and oversight of construction operations. He has over 20 years' experience in construction and construction management. A graduate of Central Washington University, he spent most of his career at RCI advancing through a succession of senior management positions, becoming its president and CEO four years ago.

Under Albrecht's leadership, RCI consistently made the Top Specialty Contractors list in Northwest Construction magazine, the Fastest Private Company, Largest Private Company, Top Highway/Heavy Contractors, and Largest General Contractor lists in the Puget Sound Business Journal, and the Top Private 500 in Washington state and Top Construction Companies' lists in Washington CEO magazine.

PCG will be headquartered in metropolitan Seattle with divisional offices in Salt Lake City, Pasadena, and Honolulu.
