Indianapolis, Ind., September 20, 2002 -- Schneider Corp. announced the expansion of its GIS solutions for municipal and county agencies through the establishment of TransGIS.
TransGIS, a group of related products and services, broadens the user base for local government GIS by incorporating solutions for transportation infrastructure management through enhancement of existing GIS data.
TransGIS is a logical addition to Schneider's GIS offering that will assist municipalities and counties with services such as management of their infrastructure assets, E911 mapping implementation and maintenance, and school bus routing.
