Kansas City, Mo., May 3, 2002 -- Black & Veatch Corp., a global engineering, consulting and construction company, on Friday announced the appointment of Bob Bell as Vice President of Construction Equipment & Fleet Services.
Bell brings more than 20 years of experience in previous roles involving construction and startup. In his new role, Bell will be responsible for supplying all the Black & Veatch divisions with construction equipment, tools and vehicles necessary to successfully implement their projects.
He is also responsible for introducing Construction Equipment & Fleet Services to the entire construction industry in an effort to expand existing services. This includes the development of new services by supplying tools and equipment for all joint venture projects and construction companies.
The expansion also consists of jobsite set up and maintenance of a new security checkpoint system to complement the existing time clock and job identification badge system.

Most recently, Bell served as vice president, director of special projects for Black & Veatch's Energy Engineering & Construction Division. He began his career with General Electric International where he was involved with the construction and startup of power plants worldwide before joining Black & Veatch in 1997.
