Nov 16, 2000 (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)—Trustees of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have tentatively awarded a $260,000 contract for the third phase of a long- range project to control Paddock Creek in Florissant.

The contract calls for R.V. Wagner Inc. of Green Park to install a concrete channel of 222 feet that is 26 feet wide and 10 feet high. The channel would be south of Lindbergh Boulevard and west of North Waterford Drive.

Erosion along the creek threatens three nearby businesses. Construction is expected to begin in January and be complete in July. The district finished the first two phases of the project in 1988 and 1989.
