Tetra tech expands infrastructure business, acquiring rocky mountain consultants

Tetra Tech Inc. has acquired Rocky Mountain Consultants Inc., an infrastructure company with headquarters in the Denver area providing water-related engineering and facility development.

PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 21, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) —Tetra Tech Inc. (Nasdaq:TTEK) today announced that it acquired Rocky Mountain Consultants Inc. (RMC), an infrastructure company with headquarters in the Denver area providing water-related engineering and facility development.

RMC provides these services to state and local governments, and private clients, which are primarily located in the western and midwestern United States. RMC employs about 170 people and has trailing annual revenue of approximately $22 million. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
