ANDOVER, Hampshire, UK, June 24, 2008 -- The industry-leading Wolseley Sustainable Building Center will be featuring Titan Pollution Control's Envireau system as its showcase product for rainwater harvesting.
The pioneering Center in Leamington Spa has been developed by Wolseley to demonstrate the range of green and sustainable products that are available across its network of stores.
The Envireau system that has been selected collects rainwater from the roof, filters out leaves and debris, and stores it in a 3,000 litre underground tank. Water is drawn off via a silent running pump, passing through a series of filters and can be used typically for a range of non-potable functions - in this instance, flushing the toilets.
When the stored water is not available, the system automatically switches to mains water, thereby ensuring a constant supply of water is maintained without intervention from the user.
