PORTLAND, OR, Nov. 16, 2006 -- CH2M Hill, a global full-service engineering, construction, and operations firm announces the hire of Dale Jutila as a client service manager with the firm's Utility Management Solutions segment of the Water Business Group.
As a respected member of the Pacific Northwest drinking water community, Jutila brings more than 30 years of experience in water utility leadership to CH2M Hill. His experience includes both operations and administration of water utilities, including facilitation of contracts, water utility emergency preparedness and financial management.
In his new role at CH2M Hill, he will work with clients such as the Water Security Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Seattle Public Utilities and the South Lake Recreational Water and Sewer District in Idaho. Prior to joining CH2M Hill, Jutila served as Water Division Manager for the city of Gresham (OR) Department of Environmental Services.
Active in the water industry through the American Water Works Association, Jutila served as a past Chair of the Pacific Northwest Section and has presented several papers at industry conferences. He is a recipient of the George Warren Fuller Award from the Association.
Jutila graduated from the Pacific Program at the University of Oregon, the Water Utility Management Institute at the University of Minnesota, and received his Associate's in Civil Engineering Technology from Clark College. He is a registered professional engineer in Oregon and Washington and is certified as a water system treatment and distribution operator.
