CENTENNIAL, CO, May 25, 2006 -- The American Galvanizers Association (AGA) and the International Zinc Association (IZA) recently released an online Galvanized Rebar Resource Center at http://www.galvanizedrebar.com. In conjunction with the website, the associations also released a comprehensive hot-dip galvanized rebar brochure.

The website is a complete resource center providing construction engineers and architects with relevant information on the properties and performance of hot-dip galvanized reinforcing steel. The resource center contains technical information about galvanized rebar in the following areas: performance, field handling, cost, inspection, specification guidelines, frequently asked questions, case histories, and global contact information.

The 10-page galvanized rebar brochure entitled, "Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel: A Concrete Investment," describes hot dip galvanized rebar and how it performs in concrete. The brochure also features examples of a variety of concrete structures world-wide that are constructed using hot-dip galvanized reinforcing steel.
