Jacobs receives watershed facility, CSO planning contract extension

PASADENA, CA, Nov. 13, 2007 -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that it received a renewable contract, with a potential for 4 base years and two 1-year options, from the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) to provide system-wide wastewater planning services through August 2013. The work is allocated and the contract renewed annually based on performance. Officials did not disclose the contract value.

MSD is the local municipal agency responsible for managing wastewater and stormwater collection and treatment for the City of St. Louis and a large portion of the greater St. Louis County metropolitan area in Missouri.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Kevin McMahon stated, "We have been working with MSD on this program over the last 5 years and look forward to continue helping them move their capital program forward over the next several years."
