Earth Tech's UK operations wins top recycling, waste management award
LONG BEACH, CA, Nov. 16, 2007 -- Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco International Ltd., and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has been recognized with the Innovation in Design award at the Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management 2007 which recognizes innovation, dedication and success in recycling and sustainable waste management.
Earth Tech was recognized for its work on the Integrated Waste Management Facility in Western Isles, Scotland. The awards are supported by the Waste Implementation Programme (DEFRA), Environmental Services Association, Environment Agency and National Association of Waste Disposal Officers. The award was presented to Earth Tech at a recent event at London's Savoy Hotel attended by more than 300 senior industry representatives.
Earth Tech, chosen from a record 200 entries, was commended for a high degree of innovation and imagination.
