Northwest Pipe Company announces $10M order
PORTLAND, OR, Sept. 24, 2007 -- Northwest Pipe Company reported today that it was named as pipe supplier by S.J. Louis Construction of Waite Park, Minnesota for the Folsom South Canal-Clay Station to Jack Tone Road Pipeline for the East Bay Municipal Utility District near Sacramento, California.
The Company will supply approximately 33,000 feet of steel pipe valued at approximately $10 million for an engineered and custom fabricated piping system. The pipe is expected to be manufactured in the Company's Adelanto, California and Portland, Oregon divisions with delivery scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2008.
Northwest Pipe Company manufactures welded steel pipe and other products in three business segments. Its Water Transmission Group is a leading supplier of large diameter, high-pressure steel pipe products that are used primarily for water infrastructure in North America.
