BRIDGEPORT, NJ, June 8, 2007 -- Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the United States with 24 branch offices and a network of over 100 distributors worldwide, recently named Garry F. Hager as Branch Manager of its location at 201 Forsyth Hall Drive, in Charlotte, NC. In this position, Hager will be responsible for sales and operations of the rental branch including business development in the construction, industrial, municipal/government, environmental and mining and aggregates markets.

Hager spent 16 years with ABS Pumps (The Cardo Group) working with submersible pumps, aeration equipment, blowers and mixers, beginning with inside sales and operations management responsibilities and concluding with responsibility for the entire southeast region. Hager also has experience with electric motors, gearboxes and drives, heavy capital equipment sales and automotive repair.

Hager holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ and is a graduate of the Lincoln Technical Institute (Union, NJ) Automotive Technical training program. He resides in Wesley Chapel, NC with his wife Dianne and their two children.

Godwin Pumps has also recently named Howard B. Slaff as Director of Marketing. In this position, Slaff will be responsible for Godwin's integrated marketing campaign to increase rentals and sales, and enhance brand presence worldwide. Before joining Godwin Pumps, Slaff held various sales and marketing positions throughout his 23 year career with Baker Hughes (Baker Petrolite Polymers Division), a world leader in providing chemical, engineering and technological solutions to the hydrocarbon recovery and processing industries. While at Baker, Slaff helped increase revenues by 87% from 2002 to 2006 in his role as Director of Marketing and doubled sales in targeted marketing segments. His experiences at Baker Hughes included telemarketing, sales and marketing and strategic planning.

Slaff holds a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Finance from Oklahoma State University and has completed various courses in product development, pricing and strategic development from institutions including the MIT Sloan School of Management and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Godwin Pumps maintains a fleet of over 5,000 portable rental pumps and related equipment for use in dewatering in construction, mining and quarrying; in drinking water supply; and in wastewater bypasses in municipal, industrial and environmental markets. The Godwin Dri-Prime® pump features fully automatic selfpriming to 28 ft, dry-running and solids handling capabilities and is complemented by a wide range and variety of electric submersible Sub-Prime®, hydraulic submersible Heidra® and gasoline-powered Wet-Prime pumps.
