CH2M Hill appoints new China, Russia manager

DENVER, CO, Feb. 14, 2007 -- CH2M Hill today announced the appointment of David Rosamond to Russia country manager.

A 38-year veteran of the firm, Rosamond will be responsible for all CH2M Hill operations in Russia. Prior to this new assignment, he has spent the last eight years for the firm in Singapore and Shanghai. During his tenure running China's operations, Rosamond established and grew the firm's manufacturing and chemicals business.

Under his leadership the China organization has grown from an initial staff of 25 four years ago to the current staff of 350 professionals with revenues approaching $50 million. He also played an instrumental role in helping to secure CH2M Hill's General Contractor License in China in January 2006, becoming one of only a handful of non-Chinese based firms to hold this license.

He is a registered professional engineer in six states and a certified project manager and safety professional in China. Rosamond received his both his bachelor and master's degrees from Clemson University.

His previous role of China manager will be assumed by Al Brousseau, CH2M Hill's Northern Asia Theater Managing Director.
