HOUSTON, Jan. 27, 2004 -- The Philadelphia Water Department has joined Bentley's Enterprise Training SubscriptionSM program.

The Enterprise Training Subscription (ETS) program from the Bentley InstituteSM offers user organizations convenient, unlimited training on Bentley software products for a fixed annual fee. Courses cover all AEC disciplines in building, civil, plant and geospatial.

As a better way to keep workers well trained, a Bentley ETS can increase productivity and profits, help retain employees, improve collaboration with partners, and enhance business agility. Unlimited access to courses maximizes training opportunities and streamlines administration, while the annual term simplifies budgeting and accounting.

Philadelphia Water's ETS will provide a cost-effective way for the staff to maintain its skill and proficiency on Bentley® applications as the department upgrades to Bentley MicroStation® V8, the latest version of Bentley's flagship desktop product. The agreement will also provide cost-effective, continuing training for the utility's employees on Bentley ProjectWise®, Bentley Architecture™, Bentley PlantSpace®, and the GEOPAK® Site Water/Sewer Module™.

As a strategic benefit, a Bentley ETS helps organizations such as Philadelphia Water respond quickly to workload demands. Project starts can happen faster and teams can reconfigure more quickly for new assignments, as workers mobilize without delay.

The leader in MicroStation and Bentley application training since 1995, the Bentley Institute develops and delivers courses taught at more than 100 training centers worldwide. Training is also available online or onsite.

The comprehensive curriculum covers Bentley desktop and server products, and advanced workflows enabled by Bentley software. Taught by expert, Bentley-certified instructors, all training includes the latest innovations in Bentley products.

The Bentley ETS program also provides consultants who can develop custom training plans tailored to an organization's business goals, and measure training effectiveness.
