OMAHA, NE, Sept. 1, 2004 -- Washington-based consulting and engineering firm Economic and Engineering Services (EES) Inc., is joining architecture-engineering-consulting firm HDR, Inc. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Going forward, EES will conduct business as HDR/EES.

EES's expertise helping public clients finance and manage water system assets will mesh particularly well with HDR's top 10 national water program, according to George A. Little, president, HDR Engineering, Inc. "We're pleased to welcome EES to HDR and excited about the additional capabilities they will bring to the table," said Little.
