LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15, 2005) -- AECOM, a global design and management company, has appointed John M. Dionisio, 57, effective Oct. 1, as CEO and president, positions previously held by Richard G. Newman, 70, and Raymond A. Holdsworth, 62, respectively. Newman will remain as chairman, and Holdsworth has been named vice chairman of corporate development.
Jim Royer, 59, was appointed COO concurrently, succeeding Dionisio in that role. AECOM has 22,000 employees worldwide and expected annual revenues of approximately $2.5 billion for fiscal year 2005. The company provides design and management services in the transportation, facilities, and environmental markets through a group of operating companies.

Dionisio also was named a member of the AECOM Board of Directors. His thirty-plus year career has included senior management positions on AECOM's corporate staff and at AECOM operating company DMJM Harris, which he headed prior to being named AECOM Chief Operating Officer in 2004. Royer has over 35 years of professional experience and most recently served as the head of AECOM's Facilities and Government Groups, following senior management roles in several AECOM operating companies.
