LOVELAND, CO, June 22, 2005 -- The Hach Company is integrating the online analysis business division of Danfoss Water & Wastewater into its growing family of products, following its acquisition in May by Hach's parent company, Danaher Corp. This new addition complements and further widens Hach's existing technology range for online process measurement.
Danfoss Analytical products include the Evita® line of online instrumentation, INSITU-PROTM service packages, USC universal signal controllers and all related analytical product options and accessories. The innovative Evita line, highly regarded for online measurement of oxygen and nutrient salts in wastewater, includes the successful Evita Insitu 4100 Nutrient Analyzer, recipient of the prestigious Innovative Technology Award (instrumentation category) from the Water Environmental Federation in 2004.
"Danfoss Analytical customers can be assured of the same high-quality, reliable, and comprehensive assistance they've come to expect, and can look forward to receiving a higher level of service through Hach's field service team," said Hach Company vice president of sales Chris Fergen. "Hach's extensive support network will considerably reinforce the current level of Danfoss Analytical service."
With the integration of Danfoss Analytical products, Hach now offers the broadest range of proven analytical products for water, wastewater and industrial applications. Following a short transition period, the business activities of Danfoss Analytical will continue under the Hach Evita Brand name. While the products and services will remain unchanged, installed products will be fully covered by the new, expanded Hach team.
