SAN DIEGO, CA, Dec. 10, 2005 -- Drew George, of Drew George & Partners, Inc. (DGP), has recently been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute in Newton Square, Pa. The PMP certification is the project management profession's most recognized and respected global credential. To obtain PMP certification, an individual must satisfy education and experience requirements, agree to adhere to a Professional Code of Conduct, and pass the PMP Certification Examination.

George established Drew George & Partners (DGP) in 2003 to create the green-based company he always wanted to work for in San Diego. Working with clients through the phases of programming, design, construction, commissioning, and operations, the company is able to enhance the value delivered while saving significant money and environmental resources. It has provided services on LEED projects for Alliant International University, City of San Diego, La Maestro Family Clinic, Navy Federal Credit Union, Pacific Beachfront Resort, San Diego Community College District, San Diego International Airport, and Sempra Utilities.

Drew George has been a local and national leader in the green building industry since 1999. He is a former National Board member for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), established the Washington DC and San Diego Chapters of the USGBC, wrote the original USGBC Chapter Guidelines and established the Big Green Listserve (www.biggreen.org).
