U.S. meat and poultry industry lauds CDC data on foodborne illness drop
WASHINGTON, DC, April 14, 2005 (PRNewswire) -- Continuing reductions in U.S. foodborne illnesses announced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention correspond to continuing reductions in pathogenic bacteria on meat and poultry products, according to the American Meat Institute Foundation.
