March 8, 2002 -- The National Environmental Training Center for Small Communities (NETCSC) offers a new electronic calendar of security-related training for drinking water and wastewater facility personnel.
NETCSC is compiling and maintaining the calendar on the NETCSC Web site to assist plant operators and managers to locate training to help them upgrade security at their plants.
The calendar may be found on NETCSC's Web site at http://www.netc.wvu.edu. To have training events listed on the calendar, organizations may submit information via e-mail to [email protected]. The message should include a description of the course, location, date, fees, and contact information, including a Web site address, if available.
NETCSC, an organization funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, improves the public health and environmental conditions of the nation's small communities by providing training and training-related information and referral services in the areas of wastewater, drinking water, and solid waste.
