March 14, 2003 -- Since its inception in 2001, WWEMA's Global Business Resource Center has become an invaluable tool to WWEMA members in helping track viable business opportunities for water and wastewater equipment and services worldwide.
Interest in this program has expanded into the consulting engineering community and other major players in the industry, leading WWEMA to decide to open its center to non-members for an additional fee.
Updated twice monthly, this customized web-based marketing tool provides easy access to a vast source of projects, marketing studies, trade shows, financing vehicles and key environmental contacts available to help water and wastewater equipment manufacturers dramatically increase their international sales potential.
Since the start of this year, over 200 specific government and utility tenders and bank projects have been posted to the site. Additional projects are being added regularly, courtesy of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration, the ECOLINKS program, US-GTN and the China Envirobiz newsletters.
Companies interested in subscribing to the Global Business Resource Center should contact WWEMA's Vice President, Susan Helling at 703-444-1777 ([email protected]).
