Seminar to highlight business opportunities for environmental projects at the U.S.-Mexico border

The North American Development Bank has announced a business opportunities seminar on Oct. 9 & 10 in San Antonio, Texas.

Aug. 6, 2003 -- The North American Development Bank (NADB) has announced a business opportunities seminar on Oct. 9 & 10 in San Antonio, Texas.

The conference, which will be held in partnership with the Free Trade Alliance of San Antonio, is designed for contractors, suppliers and consultants.

The event will focus on the business opportunities available with the Asian Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the North American Development Bank and the World Bank.

Perspectives on how environmental projects are developed through the multilateral development bank's process, including bidding and other procedures for obtaining contracts pertaining to equipment, civil works and consulting will be offered.

Opportunities to meet one-on-one with procurement staff from the four multilateral banks and the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) Export Assistance Center, U.S. Trade and Development Agency and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation will also be available.

Cost of the seminar, which includes conference materials, a continental breakfast, lunch and cocktail reception, is $145.00 per person.

This year exhibitor space will be available for goods and services. The exhibitor package will include a promotional article on your company available to all conference participants, name recognition in all marketing materials and a 6 ft. exhibitor table. The cost is $100 for seminar participants and $150 for non-participants.
