Titled "Small Wastewater Systems: Alternative Systems for Small Communities and Rural Areas", (Item #WWPSPE02) provides descriptions of various alternative wastewater systems available to small and rural communities.
This foldout poster also includes descriptions of both onsite and alternative centralized wastewater systems, such as septic tank/soil absorption systems, aerobic treatment units, drip and spray irrigation, sand filters, chamber system mounds, constructed wetlands, composting toilets, low-pressure pipe systems, greywater and blackwater systems, and more.
