June 5, 2003 -- Sutron Corp. has recently received a $717,470 order for hydrological Remote Datalogger/Controllers and HDR Satellite Transmitters from the USGS's Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF). This order was included in the $1,371,233 total bookings reported for April, 2003.
Located at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, the HIF is a valuable USGS entity providing hydrological support services through the identification of needs, development of technical specifications, design or development of specialized interfaces, contracts and procurements, testing and evaluation, specialized field applications, repair and calibration, quality control and assurance, and storage and distribution of hydrologic instrumentation.
