Milwaukee, February 4, 2003 - Onyx Waste Services, Inc., a business unit of Onyx North America, announced recently the promotion of Jane Fowler to General Counsel. She previously was Associate General Counsel.

In her new position as General Counsel, Fowler is responsible for managing the legal affairs of Onyx Waste Services, providing legal counsel to all aspects of solid waste operations, asserting and protecting the company's legal rights and assuring adherence to Onyx's rigorous ethical and compliance standards. Fowler joined Onyx Waste Services, Inc. as Senior Corporate Counsel in February 2002 and last October was appointed Associate General Counsel.
Fowler has practiced environmental law since 1984, when she graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
