MORGANTOWN, WV, September 7, 2001 — A brochure titled Polluted is now available from the National Small Flows Clearinghouse (NSFC).
Developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Water, this brochure folds out to graphically illustrate sources of runoff, such as forestry, agriculture, urban stormwater, household and automotive care, and construction.
The brochure lists activities in which the community can participate to help reduce the impact of runoff and pollution entering nearby waterways. Regional EPA Nonpoint Source Coordinators are listed as sources of more information. This two-page foldout could be useful to local and state officials and the general public.

Funded by the EPA, the NSFC helps small communities find affordable sewage treatment options to protect public health and the environment.
