BAYTOWN, TX, May 27, 2008 -- Veolia ES Industrial Services Inc. today announced that it has acquired Pacific Liners, a full service pipe and sewer line restoration company, established in 1993. Pacific Liners offers a complete line of processes and services to maintain and rehabilitate underground pipelines using trenchless technologies.

With 2007 revenue of $21 million, Pacific Liners' services include cleaning, inspection, pipeline restoration, and manhole and structure rehabilitation. The company provides custom solutions to preserve and protect such structures and substrates, such as trenchless technology, which allows for underground installation or repairs with minimum disruption to the surface. These services will complement the wide breadth of Veolia's existing turnkey services and capabilities, which are already provided to customers throughout North America.
According to Rose, Veolia plans to retain Pacific Liners' Vacaville, California office location and its 75 employees, including its management team, administrative staff and field personnel. By acquiring Pacific Liners, Veolia will expand its sewer services presence in California, Nevada and Oregon, while continuing to grow and expand this group throughout North America.
Pacific Liners will transition to the Veolia Environmental Services brand over the next several months.
