Air & Waste Management Assoc., WEF offer conference on odors, air emissions
PITTSBURGH, PA, Feb. 8, 2008 -- The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF), in cooperation with the Arizona Water & Pollution Control Association, will offer the "Odors and Air Emissions" specialty conference April 6-9, in Phoenix, AZ.
"As communities grow, municipal, industrial, and agricultural facilities face mounting issues related to odors and air emissions," said Adrianne Carolla, A&WMA Executive Director. "This conference will help the air and water quality professionals tasked with managing these issues to find solutions that work in their regional areas."
The conference offers practitioners, facility owners/operators, researchers, and public administrators insight on current industry topics and regulatory requirements. Conference themes include: sampling methods, measuring, and estimating emissions; odor and emission control systems; collection system odors and corrosion; regulatory issues, sustainability and greenhouse gasses; and odor control.
