DALLAS, Nov. 6, 2006 -- Trinity Consultants, a nationwide firm that assists facilities with regulatory compliance and environmental management issues, announced Nov. 1 its environmental training schedule for 2007. Senior members of Trinity's technical staff teach the courses, which are held at convenient locations nationwide. Trinity provides comprehensive resource manuals for each course, and participants receive a certificate indicating professional development hours upon course completion.

In 2007, Trinity will offer more than 200 training courses that address a wide variety of environmental issues. Basic courses include:
• Introduction to Air Quality Regulations
• Introduction to Waste Management Regulations
• Clean Water Act Permitting & Compliance
• SPCC and Integrated Contingency Planning Workshop
• Environmental Regulations (Multimedia)
• Introduction to Environmental Recordkeeping & Reporting

In Trinity's introductory courses, on topics such as air quality regulations, Clean Water Act permitting, waste management, and multimedia environmental regulations, SPCC integrated contingency planning, and environmental recordkeeping and reporting, attendees learn key terms and focus on basic compliance issues. Advanced air quality courses focus on NSR/PSD compliance, Title V permitting, NSR reform, air compliance auditing, and odour quantification assessment. Other regulatory-focused courses include MACT compliance courses and more general Clean Air Act workshops for specific industries such as petroleum refining, surface coating, Department of Defense, CFC regulatory compliance, ethanol compliance, and pipeline/terminals.

Trinity's environmental management courses provide instruction on topics such as managing sustainable development, managing greenhouse gas emissions, implementing an ISO 14000/EMS, developing an environmental compliance auditing program, selecting and implementing an EMIS, corporate environmental compliance management, and successful environmental inspections. Finally, Trinity offers technical classes that instruct attendees in air dispersion modeling, AERMOD modeling, CALPUFF modeling, accidental release modeling, stack testing, and emissions inventory development. Trinity also offers state-specific courses focusing on air quality regulations/permitting requirements, air dispersion modeling, and water and waste management programs.
