• Industry veterans Susan Gilbert, Wayne Lindsay become part of waster and wastewater business practice.
OMAHA, NE, Nov. 17, 2006 -- Susan Gilbert and Wayne Lindsay have joined HDR's extensive water and wastewater business practice, respectively ranked 10th and 13th in the nation by Engineering News-Record magazine.
Susan Gilbert is the central regional director for the water business group, and will be based in the Denver office. Her responsibilities include leading HDR's water and wastewater business practice throughout the Central region, which spans 13 Midwest and South Central states as well as Colorado. Prior to joining HDR, Gilbert was an alternative delivery service manager for the southwest United States for CH2M Hill. She also spent 18 years at MWH Constructors, most recently as director of sales and marketing responsible for development and sales of $100 million annual water/wastewater alternative delivery projects.A registered professional engineer in Utah, Washington and Colorado (pending), Gilbert holds bachelor's degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Utah State University, as well as a master's degree in environmental engineering from Utah State University and a master's degree in business administration from Seattle University.
Wayne Lindsay is a national pursuit leader based in HDR's St. Louis office. His responsibilities include developing new business opportunities. Prior to joining HDR, he was a regional marketing director of environmental services for Jacobs Civil Inc., where he led sales and marketing efforts for the environmental services unit of the central region. He has more than 20 years of experience as a senior business development and operational manager for engineering/consulting and diversified services firms. He holds a bachelor's degree in business from Lamar University and has completed postgraduate work in environmental sciences, business, finance and insurance.
