Ground water expo attracts record number of exhibitors

WESTERVILLE, OH, Nov. 22, 2010 -- According to the NGWA, an all-time record number of exhibiting organizations will participate in the 2010 Ground Water Expo and Annual meeting in Las Vegas this December...

WESTERVILLE, OH, Nov. 22, 2010 -- An all-time record number of exhibiting organizations will participate in the 2010 Ground Water Expo and Annual meeting in Las Vegas this December, the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) announced today.

The 320 exhibitors tops the old record of 316 set in 2006also in Las Vegas. This year's exhibitors will occupy 68,000 square feet of floor space. Thirty-four new exhibiting companies will be present.

The Expo and Annual meeting takes place December 7-10 the exposition floor open December 8-9. The number of preregistrants is 4,000 and rising.

"With two weeks still to go, this already is a record-breaking show," said NGWA Executive Director Kevin McCray. "If you want to see the latest and greatest in groundwater industry products and technology, the Expo is the place to be."

Other events with separate registration during the Expo include NGWA's:

  • Groundwater Industry Business Leaders Forum and Luncheon, December 9
  • Forum, "Petroleum Hydrocarbons and Organic Chemicals in Ground Water: Prevention, Detection, and Remediation®," December 9
  • Geothermal Drilling Mud and Grouting School, December 10
