PASADENA, CA, Jan. 30, 2007 -- Tetra Tech Inc. announced today that it has been selected to provide up to $20 million of wastewater-related as-needed professional consulting services to the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC) over the next two years.

Tetra Tech was the only competitor to be awarded Master Services Agreements (MSAs) in five of the MSDGC's service categories. It has already negotiated its first task order under the collection systems category -- the design of the Columbia Parkway Combined Storm Sewer Separation Project. The MSAs support MSDGC's global consent decree agreement for solutions to address untreated wastewater from flowing into the environment through combined sewer overflows and sanitary sewer overflows (CSOs and SSOs).

Under its five MSAs, Tetra Tech will provide consulting services for collection systems; major facilities, including wastewater treatment plants; minor facilities, such as pump stations and force mains; environmental investigations; and facility and process controls integration, including treatment plant instrumentation and controls.

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (www.msdgc.org) serves the wastewater removal and treatment needs of over 800,000 customers in Hamilton County, OH. MSDGC is actively working to reduce and eliminate sewer overflows located within the MSDGC service area.
