• ENSR expands operations in Turkey
ANKARA, Turkey, Oct. 10, 2007 -- ENSR Turkey has relocated and expanded operations to a larger office in Ankara, and named a new business development director to guide its expansion efforts. ENSR, part of AECOM, is a leading global environmental services provider.
ENSR's Turkish offices provide comprehensive environmental services, including environmental due diligence, environmental permitting, hazardous waste management, and soil and groundwater remediation to local and multinational companies, as well as to government and public agencies. Currently, ENSR Turkey staff is working on multi-phase extraction remediation systems at retail stations, which will lower the health and safety risks associated with contaminated groundwater and subsoil; environmental impact assessments of a thermal power plant and a cement plant; and environmental site assessments to identify potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities.
Based in ENSR's Istanbul office, Hulya Aras Oburoglu, ENSR Turkey's Business Development Director, has seventeen years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance, risk assessment, water supply systems, water quality monitoring, and project management experience across Turkey and the region. She has consulted on water quality issues for the United Nation's World Health Organization.
