AquaSensors names Emerson executive as sales, marketing director

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI, July 25, 2007 -- AquaSensors LLC President Bruce Bathurst announced that Tim Schilz has joined the process analytical measurement systems specialist as director of sales and marketing.

Schilz comes to the company from the Rosemount Analytical Liquid Division of Emerson Process Management where he was global OEM and key accounts manager. Prior to his work with Rosemount, he was the marketing manager of for GLI International.

Schilz is active in a number of national trade organizations including the American Water Works Association and Water Environment Federation. Locally, he's active in the Wisconsin Water Association and also serves as a village trustee. A member also of the Editorial Advisory Committee of Industrial WaterWorld (which is published by PennWell Corp.), he has many years of experience in municipal and industrial measurement applications and has developed many personal relationships in the industry.

AquaSensors designs and manufactures innovative process analytical measurement systems for water quality and process control applications. Current measurements include pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, dissolved ozone, resistivity, drinking water turbidity and suspended solids. Its patented DataStick measurement system features pre-calibrated plug-in sensor heads that provide 24-bit data directly into a PLC or computer system. No intermediate analyzer boxes are necessary.

Schilz said he's excited about the opportunity to grow AquaSensors' analytical measurement business. He plans to get the message out to industry professionals about the company's unique measurement platform so they too can learn how the DataStick analytical system can help save time, money, and improve accuracy and performance. He'll manage existing sales channels and develop new ones.
