• Technology now internationally patented; already protected under United States Patent 6,398,960
RALEIGH, NC, June 25, 2007 -- EOS Remediation, a company specializing in a variety of bioremediation products, has announced the exclusive license of the European patent, 1 315 675. This new status verifies EOS Remediation's expansion in developing progressive technology using emulsified oils for groundwater and bioremediation. The patent is a result of more than seven years of research and testing from accomplished bioremediation scientists and engineers.
"Securing our first patent in Europe gives substantial support to our research and applications since we have similar patents in the US," said Dr. Bob Borden, Senior Consultant of EOS Remediation. "This opens a great opportunity for new products and applications. We're currently working on a number of uses that will expand non-intrusive clean-up options for variety of applications."
Technology that is covered under the European patent is being used in many of EOS Remediation's products specifically for the in situ treatment of groundwater. Other international patents are pending for the same technology.
