Lonza announces price increase
FAIR LAWN, NJ, Nov. 16, 2004 -- Lonza has announced 10-15% price increases on products sold into the water treatment, household, institutional, industrial and personal care markets.
The product lines affected include Halohydantoins and other Hydantoin derivatives, Quats, Amines, Surfactants and other specialty biocides and preservatives.
The increase becomes effective Dec. 1. The company cites large increases in raw material, transportation and energy related costs as the reason for necessitating this action.
