The company announced the rebranding to reflect its new growth strategy and product offerings.

A UK technology business has changed its name from G2O Water Technologes to Evove. The company hopes its rebranding will reflect its new growth strategy and the development of advanced Separonic membranes.

“We have outgrown G2O”, said Chris Wyres, CEO, commenting on the December 7 launch of the new company name and brand. “The business has matured: our team and partner network is growing, our product range has increased from a single technology offering to a multiplatform portfolio and the range of applications we address has expanded. Hence, it was time to evolve the brand to reflect this transition. As Evove, we are engaging with clients and partners to deliver transformational solutions for filtering and treating water, at the core of which are our advanced membrane technologies.”.

The business has applied graphene oxide coatings and a variety of 3D-printed spacer and insert technologies to enhance the performance of conventional membranes. It is now developing a product line called SeparonicsTM, which uses advanced engineering and additive manufacturing techniques to optimize the 3D architecture of ceramic and polymer membranes.

“We’re on the cusp of announcing some exciting new products and about to commence a new round of investment to scale them up for clients all around the world”, commented COO Craig Clement. “The time is right to mark this with a new brand and company name that better reflects the rapid growth and change we have successfully navigated recently as a business.”

Wyres and Clement launched the new brand in an online event on December 7 with key clients, stakeholders, and staff, who shared excitement with the direction the company is taking.

Attending the event, global thought leader in water Will Sarni said, “This is a company that has set forth to solve wicked water problems with transformational technologies that will enable a far greater uptake of water recycling at a local level and for precious resources to be recovered from fluids, like lithium from geothermal waters, or dairy products from whey. It’s exciting to see first-hand what is going on behind the scenes.”
