Eshani Jha, Stockholm Junior Water Prize Winner

Eshani Jha has been named winner of the 2021 Stockholm Junior Water prize by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). Jha’s research focused on how to remove contaminants from freshwater in a simple and cost-effective way, replacing active carbon with biochar creating a ‘super sponge’ for attacking contaminants in the water supply.
