Wildermuth Environmental awarded water resources project contract
LAKE FOREST, CA, Aug. 25, 2005 -- Wildermuth Environmental Inc., a water resources consulting firm, has been chosen by the Beaumont Cherry Valley Water District and the city of Beaumont, Calif., to conduct four key water resources projects to improve groundwater quality and increase water availability in the Beaumont area. The District Board of Directors and the City Council unanimously approved Wildermuth Environmental for the project and have formed a project committee within the San Timoteo Watershed Management Authority to oversee the project.

Cucamonga Valley Water District looks to USFilter for nitrate removal
LOS ANGELES, CA, Aug. 25, 2005 -- The Cucamonga Valley Water District receives a large portion of its water from the Los Angeles Metropolitan Water District (MWD). The MWD determined there was an imminent chance of failure in the city supply line and notified the district that it would need to shut off its supply for several weeks while repairs were made. The city had a choice of either bringing nitrate contaminated wells back on line to make up for the short fall or impose severe water rationing. In June 2004, USFilter commenced a 30-day contract with the water district in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., for removal of nitrate from the district's drinking water supply...
