Enschede, The Netherlands, Jan. 22, 2004 -- X-Flow B.V. announces that it will supply their XIGA™ ultrafiltration membrane technology for the new potable water production facility for the city of Hennebont, France. X-Flow has signed a contract for this project with the French contractor Stereau.

For X-Flow this contract is a breakthrough in the French water market after receipt of the French DGS approval for use of its membrane filtration elements in potable water applications in 2001.

In the potable water installation at Hennebont, which is planned to be in operation early 2004, surface water from the river le Blavet is used as the source for potable water production. X-Flow's ultrafiltration membrane technology will be used as a final barrier for the removal of bacteria and viruses.
