PITTSBURGH, PA, Sept. 20, 2004 -- Underground Solutions Inc. (UGSI) has entered into a joint development agreement with McElroy Manufacturing Inc. to develop a new line of specialized PVC fusion equipment. Under the agreement McElroy and Underground Solutions will be jointly developing PVC Fusion equipment and various modification and certification kits to retrofit existing McElroy fusion equipment to efficiently and effectively fuse UGSI's patent-pending Fusible C-900TM, Fusible C-905TM and Fusible PVCTM product line.

In addition, Duraliner provides an equivalent design-life of new PVC pipelines (75 to 100 years) thus qualifying the rehabilitated pipe lines to be capitalized as new assets under the rules of GASB Statement 34.
